Unsold items are passed on to non-profits and families in our communities that need them.

Consignors earn money for their households by selling no-longer-needed items in a safe environment.

Shoppers buy clothes, shoes, toys and more for their families for pennies on the dollar.

Good stewardship of the earth is practiced by recycling and reusing things that may otherwise be taken to landfills. In the US alone, around 85% of textiles end up in landfills annually.

Camaraderie between shoppers, consignors, crew and local organizations flourishes.

Supporting other local small businesses by spotlighting their uniqueness through a fun interactive raffle bringing joy and community together!

All About Us

The Treasure Chest Sale began in 2014 with a handful of consignors; it has since grown to be Rocky Mount's premier pop-up consignment event, with over 2000 consignors over its lifetime!

TCS is led by Lydia Peacock, since 2026, as she is determined to keep the love for thrifty cost-effective finds and friendships alive. The Crew are friends who are really more like family who give TSC the atmosphere you have come to know and love.

One of the best parts of TCS is seeing families grow from season to season, connecting with the community, and all the friendships made along the way.
